The 10 restaurant chains with the best value for the dollar, according to consumers

In today’s economic climate, value is more important to restaurant consumers than ever. Inflation is high, people are hitting a breaking point with menu price increases, and the fear of a recession is ever-present.

Value is one of the qualities that market research firm Datassential polls consumers about for the annual Consumer Picks report.

This year, they found that value correlates highly to brands that customers already like. Datassential also advises that apps can provide value while maintaining the integrity of a brand’s pricing.

In this gallery, see the 10 restaurant chains with the highest number of consumers rating them “best in class” or “above average” on value for the dollar.

Most — but not all — of these chains are in the quick-service segment, which of course is known for its value. The top 3 are all pizza brands. And four of these brands are new to this list since last year.
